Each of the seven member wineries around Keuka Lake will prepare a rich variety of food inspired by the flavors and cooking styles from different regions in Italy. Samples of food will be served with complementing local wines. Two ticket options are available for this self-guided food and wine event. Sunday-only tickets are $19.00 per person; tickets for the full weekend are $25.00 per person. All ticket holders will receive a souvenir wine glass.</p>
<p>Event attendees will sample a delicious variety of dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients and wineries will make recipes available to enjoy at home. A preview of the event menus includes pasta e fagioli, grilled eggplant, red pepper antipasto, penne pasta with sauce rustica, rotini with sweet sausage in rose sauce, roasted eggplant cannelloni Neapolitan, chicken carbonara over linguine, and Sicilian lentil soup. Event hours are Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Event attendees may visit all seven wineries in one day or plan an overnight stay to spend more time enjoying the area’s other attractions. One ticket allows attendees to visit all seven wineries at a relaxed pace during the weekend. Each winery will creatively use cheese in a variety of savory dishes and pour wines particularly selected to complement the dishes served. Visitors will taste many delicious styles of cheese with a variety of flavors and textures, including regional and farmstead cheese. Ticket price is $18.00 per person and includes a souvenir wine glass along with food samples and extensive wine tastings.</p>
<p>“The Cheese and Wine Lovers Weekend provides a great value for couples or a group of friends eager to beat the winter blues and to try something new together…expect a weekend flowing with food and fine wines with a touch of Valentine’s Day flair, ” says Tambi Schweizer, tasting room manager at Heron Hill Winery on the west side of Keuka Lake. <p style="text-align: justify;">Swing into the holiday season in vintage form at one of two Keuka Holiday weekends- just in time to shop for and plan your own special holidays.  Join the festivities on either the weekend of November 10-11 or November 17-18. During Keuka Holidays, each of the eight wineries along the Wine Trail pairs hearty winter foods with their delicious wines. The wineries will be beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is classically Christmas.  Ticket holders are given a grapevine wreath at the first winery they visit and an ornament at each winery.  In addition, they each receive a signature Keuka Lake Wine Trail wineglass. In one fun self-guided tour around scenic Keuka Lake, you can stock up on world class wines and local food products for your holiday get-togethers, and kick-off your holiday gift shopping.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">“For the finale of our Signature Events we do it up right! Between the two weekends, we see many familiar faces and every year tickets sell-out,” says Eileen Farnan, owner of Barrington Cellars and president of the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. Visitors can expect to see gift shops well stocked with unique, and often locally made gift items. Holiday shoppers will sample roasted pork loin with Nunda mustard glaze, chicken chili made with wine, root vegetables roasted in squash seed oil, barbecue beef sliders, and rich holiday desserts along with many other culinary delights!</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The participating wineries include Keuka Spring Vineyards, Barrington Cellars, Ravines Wine Cellars, McGregor Vineyard Winery, Heron Hill Winery, Dr. Frank’s Vinifera Wine Cellars, Stever Hill Vineyards and Hunt Country Vineyards.  Keuka Holidays hours are 10am-5pm on Saturdays and 11am – 5pm Sundays. The eight wineries of the Keuka Lake Wine Trail will usher in the fall season with their Harvest Tour of Food &amp; Wine celebration, Saturday and Sunday, September 17-18, 2011. In addition to over a dozen foods, each ticket holder will have the opportunity to sample over thirty different wines and will receive a complimentary Keuka Lake Wine Trail signature wine glass. The event runs from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, and from 11am to 5pm on Sunday.</p>
<p>While driving along the Wine Trail, attendees will enjoy the scents and sights of Harvest studded by stops at wineries offering culinary delights such as Butternut squash with sausage, curried winter squash &amp; apple soup, gratin of autumn vegetables &amp; double-smoked bacon, grape &amp; rosemary focaccia and native grape crisp. The autumn food samples will be paired with a stunning variety of world-class Finger Lakes wines, from classic dry varietals to luscious dessert wines.</p>
<p>&#8220;We time the event to be enjoyed as the grapes are coming off of the vine and local farmers are showcasing a vast selection of fruits and vegetables. The abundance of local produce provides an excellent opportunity for chefs to utilize the freshest and highest quality products,&#8221; says Mike Oliver of Heron Hill Winery. The winemaker and vineyard crew are likely to be either harvesting or pressing grapes, and event attendees will enjoy mingling with the tasting room staff to taste and appreciate the fruits of the labor.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For the 10th year wineries along the Keuka Lake Wine Trail celebrate the beginning of summer with their ever popular food and wine event spanning two weekends, Barbecue at the Wineries, June 11-12 and June 25-26. This self-guided tour around Keuka Lake includes wine tasting at eight wineries matched with a wide variety of grilled foods and barbecue flavors, open Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-5pm. Event-goers receive a souvenir wine glass at their starting winery, and recipes to collect for sparking new summer entertaining ideas.</p>
<p>John McGregor, owner of McGregor Vineyard Winery, does not hold back his enthusiasm for Barbecue at the Wineries, “those fortunate enough to purchase a ticket will get to indulge in a full range of mouth-watering foods created with sauces, rubs and marinades all made in New York State.  And of course these foods are paired with some of the finest and most diverse wines in the region!” There will be a full array of savory foods to sample along the Wine Trail including homemade summer succotash served with grilled local sausage coated with Keuka Lake&#8217;s own Chef Lerman&#8217;s Black-Strap Yankee Bar-B-Q Sauce; lemon-garlic chicken spiedies; beef brisket with Champagne Bar-B-Que’s signature sauce; and pulled pork with Arthur Marks teriyaki-pineapple sauce. Many wineries will also feature a vegetarian selection along with desserts like fresh fruit parfaits and chocolate-raspberry ice cream cake.</p>

<p>For the 7th consecutive year, the eight member wineries of the Keuka Lake Wine Trail will open their doors to the sweet warm breeze and welcome guests to their signature spring event, “Keuka in Bloom”, Saturday and Sunday, May 14-15.  Ticketholders will receive a different flower and herb, each in a 4-inch pot, such as Dwarf Snapdragons and Rainbow Chard, at each winery.  Guests will also enjoy samples of the Finger Lakes region’s finest wines and delicious herb-inspired fare such as Potato and Kale Gratin, Caprese Skewers with fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil and Baguette with Sicilian Herb Dip.  Visit all eight wineries and return home with 16 different plants!  Bring a friend and enjoy the best of magnificent Keuka Lake at the height of springtime!<br />
Joyce Hunt, owner of Hunt Country Vineyards, finds Keuka in Bloom her favorite wine trail event of the year.  “At this time of spring, everything is blossoming and the wineries are bursting with color,” says Joyce.  ‘Happy’ best describes our Keuka in Bloom weekend”.<br />

Truffles and Tastes, like the other event weekends, offers a lively food and wine experience at an unbeatable value. <p>For the third year, the Wine Trail has partnered with Hedonist Artisan Chocolates located in downtown Rochester, NY, to create a special collection of truffles infused with distinct wines from around Keuka Lake. “Truffles and Tastes is a food and wine lover’s paradise.
