Ingredients
  • CAKE
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 tsps vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsps baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsps baking powder
  • 2 tsps cinnamon
  • FROSTING
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 lb powdered sugar (about 4 cups)
Directions

CAKE:

  • Mix all cake ingredients except apples.  Then add apples.
  • Place in a 13" x 9" pan (roughly).
  • Bake at 350F for about 45 minutes.

FROSTING:

  • Beat butter, milk and vanilla until fluffy.  Then beat in powdered sugar.
